Trimac named Ryan Collinge president and COO, the company announced Oct. 9.

The position is an expanded role for Collinge, who has been COO since late 2023, a company spokesman said in an email to Trucking Dive. Collinge will report to CEO Matt Faure, who will now focus on leading the company’s long-term strategic direction.
Collinge will lead Trimac’s commercial and operational functions to support the company’s five-year corporate strategy and to develop a more responsive and consistent service experience, per the release.
Combining the executive roles brings sales and operations under one leader to help the company better respond to changing market conditions and customer needs, Trimac said.
“This combined accountability for commercial commitments and operating execution will improve communication, strengthen service reliability and support the development of practical and timely customer solutions—alongside reinforcing the company’s focus on sales and organic growth as key drivers of long-term business performance,” the Calgary, Alberta-based company said in the release.
Collinge has been with Trimac for over two decades, the press release said. He has held several leadership roles with the company, including customer service, sales, business development and national accounts. Before being named COO, Collinge was chief revenue officer.
“His extensive commercial and operational experience provides a comprehensive understanding of the business and positions him to lead Trimac through its next phase of growth,” the press release said.
