TruckerNavi Inc, a New Jersey FMCSA compliance service built for immigrant owner-operators, has released its free driver application on Google Play, completing the pair with the iOS version launched earlier this summer. The toolkit addresses a workforce reality fleets increasingly recognize: a substantial share of new US carrier authorities are registered by drivers whose first language is not English.
The app is free, carries no advertising and requires no account. Its core functions target the administrative failure points that end most new authorities in their first year. It verifies any carrier or broker against official FMCSA data by DOT number, MC number or company name, accepting queries typed in Cyrillic; computes the MCS-150 biennial update deadline from a USDOT number; and tracks UCR and IFTA dates with reminders. For drivers, it adds a private family trip-sharing link, a breakdown SOS, a DOT inspection walkthrough with an English phrasebook, and a map of Russian-speaking repair shops and services across dozens of US metros. The interface runs in English, Russian and Ukrainian.
“A trucker's phone is his office,” said Dmitry Borovoy, founder of TruckerNavi. “We put the boring but expensive part of trucking, the filings, the deadlines, the carrier checks, into it for free, in the language the driver actually thinks in. Drivers who feel taken care of come back when they need authority filings, safety compliance or insurance.”
The release extends a compliance ecosystem that includes more than 380 bilingual articles on FMCSA regulation, safety and insurance. Borovoy also published two books this summer: “Safety Manager: From Zero to Expert,” a DOT/FMCSA compliance handbook available on Amazon, and “From SAFER to Motus. Surviving FMCSA's Registration Overhaul,” the first book-length treatment of the agency's May 2026 transition to the Motus registration platform. The company's earlier product launches were covered by Barchart and carried on the USA Today wire.
The app is available on the App Store (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/truckernavi/id6759881806) and Google Play (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.truckernavi.app). Details: https://truckernavi.com/app
