YMX Logistics named Adam Buttgenbach VP of fleet strategy and loss prevention, the yard management firm announced in a press release.

YMX aims to leverage Buttgenbach’s background in fleet management, procurement discipline, operational leadership and transformation experience for its national expansion, COO Erin Mitchell said in the June 16 release.
“Adam’s experience leading complex fleet organizations at enterprise scale, combined with his deep commitment to safety and operational excellence, makes him a tremendous addition to our leadership team,” Mitchell said.
Buttgenbach has more than 20 years experience in logistics, procurement, maintenance and operational transformation, YMX said.
He spent nearly eight years with PepsiCo in leadership roles, most recently as global procurement director of fleet transformation, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In that role, Buttgenbach led PepsiCo’s fleet transformation initiatives, per the announcement. Prior to that, he held leadership roles with Custom Truck One Source and Brink’s where he led fleet modernization, acquisition integrations and operational improvements.
The position at YMX was previously held by Chad Claude, who is now VP of distribution and fulfillment at Ruan Transportation Management Systems, according to his LinkedIn profile.
