Dive Insight:
Trucking company bankruptcies have occurred amid freight demand challenges, higher operating costs and federal regulatory changes in recent years, tightening capacity.
Some firms, such as STG Logistics, have sought to reorganize operations through the process, while others have opted to shutter operations.
Triple RRR Carriers, which engaged in cross-border freight, said on its website it had drivers with CDLs and B-1 credentials.
The carrier is not the only Laredo-based business that has reported financial challenges recently. Texas International Enterprises filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in December.
