Andy Transport has acquired a majority of the assets of Transport Express Frontières, according to a press release.
Montreal-based Andy Transport, whose services include dry van, flatbed and drayage, said the move strengthens its network and supports its strategy of expanding its capabilities.
President and CEO Andreea Crisan said in a LinkedIn post that Andy Transport’s decision to acquire Express Frontières “started years ago with a conversation as well as trust and mutual respect compounded over time with a competitor.”
Crisan noted in the release that the addition of Express Frontières reflects the carrier’s focus on sustainable growth and long-term customer partnerships.
Information on Express Frontières’ website indicated the carrier had completely stopped all transport-related activities on June 18. According to a Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration database, Express Frontières of Coaticook, Canada, had eight power units and two drivers as of March.
Crisan said Express Frontières drivers would be joining Andy Transport.
Andy Transport operated 267 power units and employed 264 drivers as of June 2025, per the carrier’s FMCSA company snapshot. The carrier’s asset service coverage area includes the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario and parts of the U.S., including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and areas of the Northeastern and Southeastern portions of the country. Partner service fills in the rest for service across Canada and the U.S.
