Atlas Van Lines promoted longtime financial executive Greg Williams to corporate controller, according to a news release last month.
The promotion recognizes Williams’ consistency and performance, including the ability to raise standards across the organization and the trajectory of the company’s broadening financial operations, the release said.
“Greg is known for his deep accounting expertise, strong command of the business, and a leadership approach that challenges teams to recognize and operate at their full potential,” EVP and CFO Stacie Banks said in the release.
Williams joined the carrier 17 years ago and most recently served as senior director and controller.
As corporate controller, Williams' responsibilities will expand to include treasury, accounts receivable, collections and Atlas International accounting in addition to his current oversight of corporate accounting, tax and financial reporting, the release noted.
